- Worcestershire sauce1 tablespoon
- Dried thyme1 teaspoon
- Frozen peas1 cup
- lbs, peeled and quartered Potatoes2
- Milk1/2 cup
- Butter4 tablespoons
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black pepper
- Olive oil2 tablespoons

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large skillet or Dutch oven, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground lamb and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
Add onion, carrots, and celery to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes. Stir in garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
Stir in tomato paste, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and thyme. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
Stir in frozen peas and remove from heat.
While the lamb mixture is simmering, prepare the mashed potatoes. Place potatoes in a large pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add milk and butter and mash until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Transfer the lamb mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread the mashed potatoes evenly over the top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the potatoes are golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
