- Ground turkey (93% lean or higher)1/2 lb
- Fresh green beans1 cup
- Water or low-sodium chicken broth1/2 cup
- Olive oil1 teaspoon
- Pinch Salt (optional, to taste)
- Pinch Black pepper (optional, to taste)

Heat olive oil in a small non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the ground turkey and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until it's fully browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
While the turkey cooks, wash and trim the ends off the green beans. Steam the green beans in a steamer basket over boiling water for 5-7 minutes, or boil them in a small pot of water for 5-8 minutes, until they are very tender.
Transfer the cooked turkey and tender green beans to a blender or food processor.
Add 1/2 cup of water or low-sodium chicken broth to the blender. If desired, add a tiny pinch of salt and pepper.
Blend until the mixture is completely smooth and has a uniform consistency. If the puree is too thick, add more liquid (water or broth) one tablespoon at a time until your desired consistency is reached.
Serve warm, or let it cool completely before storing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze for longer storage.
