Method

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.

If using frozen dough, thaw according to package directions. On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough into a large rectangle, about 12x18 inches.

Brush the melted butter evenly over the dough. Sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Evenly distribute the chopped roasted green chiles and shredded cheddar cheese over the buttered dough.

Starting from one of the long edges, tightly roll the dough into a log. Pinch the seam to seal.

Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, slice the log into 1 1/2-inch thick rounds.

Arrange the slices vertically in the prepared loaf pan, overlapping slightly.

Cover loosely with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place for 20-30 minutes, or until slightly puffed.

Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly. If the top starts to brown too quickly, tent with foil.

Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve warm and enjoy!
