- Frozen corn1 cup
- (10.75 oz) Cream of mushroom soup1 can
- cups, divided Shredded cheddar cheese1 1/2
- bag Tater tots32 oz
- Crispy fried onions1/2 cup
- Salt1/2 tsp
- Black pepper1/4 tsp
- Olive oil1 tbsp

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Stir in frozen corn, cream of mushroom soup, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
Remove from heat and stir in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
Pour the beef mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Arrange tater tots in a single layer over the beef mixture.
Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the tater tots.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
Remove from oven and sprinkle crispy fried onions over the top.
Let stand for a few minutes before serving.
