- 1-2 , finely chopped (adjust to taste) Green chilies
- Lemon juice2 tablespoons
- Olive oil2 tablespoons
- Chaat masala2 teaspoons
- Cumin powder1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder1/2 teaspoon
- (or more, to taste) Red chili powder1/4 teaspoon

- to taste Black pepper

In a large bowl, combine the drained and rinsed chickpeas, chopped red onion, green bell pepper, cilantro, and green chilies.
