Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the rustic Italian bread into 1/2-inch thick pieces.

Once the bread is toasted, remove it from the oven. Take the remaining whole garlic clove, cut it in half, and gently rub the cut side over the warm, toasted bread slices. This infuses a subtle garlic flavor.
